Art has always been a quiet place for me — a space where emotions turn into lines, shadows, and stories.
My name is Biswajit Pal, and I create realistic portrait art using graphite and charcoal. Through my drawings, I try to capture those small, unspoken moments that often go unnoticed.
From an early age, I found myself observing faces — the depth in the eyes, the wrinkles that hold a lifetime of memories, and the subtle expressions that speak louder than words. What began as curiosity slowly became my passion, and today, portrait art is the way I express what I feel and see in the world.
My inspiration comes from people.
Every face has a story — of strength, hope, struggle, or silence. When I draw, I focus on these emotions. Each stroke is intentional, each shade adds depth, and each highlight brings a character to life. My goal is to make the viewer feel the soul behind the portrait.
I work mostly with pencil, charcoal, and graphite, building each artwork layer by layer. I enjoy capturing realistic details — texture, light, expression, and the raw honesty of human features. For me, realistic art isn’t just about accuracy; it’s about connection.
Through this portfolio, I want to share my journey, my growth, and my love for portrait art.
Thank you for taking the time to view my work — there is much more to create, and I’m excited to share it with you.
